As an emergency responder, there is a lot of uncertainty when you clock into your shift. Menu planning is a great way to make sure you’re eating a balanced diet and meeting your nutritional needs.

Planning meals helps you manage your time better and can ensure that you avoid unhealthy food choices. Be mindful of what you are putting into your body because performance can be adversely affected.

The food you eat can decrease your risk of heart disease and stroke. Healthy snacks aid in weight control, curb craving, improve mood and boost energy.
