The FDNY and the FDNY Foundation proudly invite all Fire Service Professionals to the “2025 FDNY High Rise Symposium” (HRS). The three-day event will take place in New York City, the “High Rise Capital of the World.” The dates for the event will be Oct 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2025. The Symposium is being offered to Firefighters, Company and Chief Officers, Private Sector Fire and Life Safety Professionals, Property Management, Code Consultants, Fire & Life Safety Members, Building Engineering and Maintenance Personnel.

The FDNY HRS will include topics and subject matter professionals presenting case studies of Fire & Life Safety, Building Systems, Fire Command Operations, First Due Tactics, UAS and Robotics, Mega High-Rise buildings, buildings under construction, fire codes, terrorism, health care facilities, in-depth strategic and tactical procedures, and building energy storage systems. The Symposium will be held over a three-day period.

Day 2:

0730-1500: Tours of both Hudson Yards and Rockefeller Center for familiarization of modern vs legacy high rise buildings.

This Tour will include- Fire Command Station, Fire Pumps, Central Chiller Plant, House Utilities, Elevator banks, Smoke Evacuation options. We will provide transportation for rotation to both location starting at hotel and returning to hotel upon completion. Food and Drink are not included but time will be scheduled for lunch.

Day 3:

0800-1600: Tactical and Operational Demonstrations at our FDNY Fire Academy on Randalls Island. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided. Transportation will be provided from the Hotel to the Training Facilities and back to the hotel.
